2024 Fees
From 1 January 2024, Kindy will be free for children who are aged at least 4 years by 30 June in the year before they start Prep.
Free Kindy is for a 15 hour per week, 40 weeks per year, government-approved education program.
Non-eligible aged children
If your child is enrolled and claiming the Queensland Kindergarten Funding (QKF) at another kindergarten program (in a Childcare or Kindergarten service), you will not be able to claim free kindy at this centre and a Daily Rate will be charged. This will also impact the centre claiming additional subsidies; therefore, your child’s daily rate will be increased to cover the loss of this funding.
Daily Rate:
- 2 long day program: $70 per day
- 5-day fortnight program: $56.00 per day
*Loss of additional subsidies will be added to this Daily Rate
